Cotton Decorations Are Under Fire For Being “Racist”

Fall decorations are in every store (let’s be real… Christmas decorations are out. It drives me BONKERS.)

Anyway, stores are filled with gourds, dried plants and flowers, and this:

I don’t , personally. I LOVE the look of raw cotton. So pretty.

Well, it turns out I must be a BIG OL’ RACIST, because this is SO OFFENSIVE.

This can’t be real. Jeez Louise… this is out of control. DRIED PLANTS are racist.

Should we stop using cotton all together, then? Let’s get rid of cotton clothing, q-tips, tampons… T-shirts? THROW THEM OUT THIS INSTANT. ALL OF IT. IT’S ALL RACIST.

Never for a SECOND would I look at that decoration and think of slavery. IT’S DRIED BRANCHES that were NOT “gained at the expense of African-American slaves” because, you know… it’s 2017.

Just SEARCHING for reasons to be offended.
