Ultra-liberal Star Trek actor George Takei is facing backlash after a horrifying tweet in which he wishes Senator Marco Rubio would suffer an allergic reaction following the Senator’s Covid vaccination.

Seems like Takei is really taking this whole “unity and healing” thing seriously, huh.

The tweet may refer to the CDC’s recent recommendation that people with a history of severe allergic reactions to medications or ingredients in the vaccine “should not get that specific vaccine.” This recommendation comes after the CDC has learned of six vaccine recipients who have suffered severe allergic reactions following their vaccination.

To the rare credit of Twitter users, many people immediately responded by condemning the hateful tweet.

This is psychotic. We want everyone to take this vaccine and be in good health, especially those who are setting the right example by getting it. That includes @marcorubio. Seriously, seek help because this is not a normal reaction to seeing someone get a vaccine.
