Opinion: Ilhan Omar Calls Riots ‘Uprising over Centuries of Racial Neglect and Oppression’

Uhm. Then why the hell did she leave her country to come here if the Unites States are in fact so much more discriminatory than where she hailed from?

A Somalian woman, a Muslim freaking immigrant, who has become an American politician, representing Minnesota’s 5th congressional district… please tell me more about this oppression and racial neglect.

Wouldn’t she be stoned to death in her home country for the adultery she committed?

This is exactly why Omar and her little clan shouldn’t even be in Congress. For how far she has come, she sure loves to crap all over the authority that she has gained, and somehow always finds a way to victimize herself.

We don’t need Omar to bring her Somalian ignorance to America.

“As we speak, we are in the midst of an ongoing uprising over centuries of racial neglect and oppression,” she said while collecting a six-figure salary from a position of enormous power and influence granted to her by a Midwestern state.

… as she’s living in a country who supports her, irrespective of her race or where she came from. But, sure, go on.

“We can’t talk about the protests in Minneapolis or Kenosha … without first looking inward,” she continued.

“We maintain a system that binds millions to desperate poverty, a system that doesn’t provide the most basic necessities, like food, shelter, and medicines,” she added.

Wait a damn minute… a system that doesn’t provide basic necessities? Uh. I think I can safely speak for all taxpaying citizens, but the amount of taxes that come out of OUR hardworking paychecks are what we’re truly bounded by, as plenty of families and individuals are enabled by the system.

Families living on government assistance programs in America are generally better off than even the average Canadian…

I don’t even get a picture of the families I’m supporting to hang on my fridge.

“Whether they are brutalized by police, by austerity economics, or by politicians who simply do not care about us, our nation is crying out desperately for change.

We need to fundamentally change the way our society treats its most vulnerable because this has gone [on] long enough.”

Well, let’s leave it to the over-privileged, spoiled victims to school the rest of the American population about vulnerability.

I mean, Omar said it herself, the (democratic) politicians don’t care about us… she should know.

Perhaps her brother appreciates America more than she does.
