August 29, 2020Actor Chadwick Boseman, perhaps best known for his role as King T’Challa/Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, passed away on Friday following a secret four-year battle with colon cancer.
In addition to the Wakandan king, Boseman played many iconic historical figures including Jackie Robinson, James Brown, and Thurgood Marshall.
Marvel Studios, along with many of Boseman’s Avengers costars, paid tribute to the late actor.
In the wake of Boseman’s death, a video from 2018 has resurfaced, in which Boseman got emotional speaking about his correspondence with kids with terminal cancer.

Knowing now that he, too, was dealing with his own terminal cancer diagnosis, the interview is even more heart-wrenching.
By all accounts, Boseman was a good, genuine man and a talented actor whose time on Earth was cut tragically short.
