Remake Of Cinderella Will Have ‘Genderless’ Fairy Godmother Because ‘Magic Has No Gender’

OMG make it stop! Hollywood is ruining all of my childhood memories in the name of woke-ness!

Sure, the magic itself doesn’t have a gender, much like the laptop I’m currently typing on – but the OPERATOR of said magic and laptop certainly do.

It’s literally in the name – GodMOTHER. Not GodFATHER. Are we about to have another Boy Scouts debate?!

It’s not even conceivable that the Godmother in Cinderella could have been perceived as Cinderella’s gay best friend. So, what’s the point?

Billy Porter revealed he will play a “genderless” Fairy Godmother in the upcoming Cinderella remake.

Porter, who often expresses “gender fluidity” on the red carpet, is the first manto hold the role in a mainstream adaptation of the classic children’s story, according to CBS News.

He calls it “a classic fairytale for a new generation” during an interview with CBS News on Monday.

“We are presenting this character as genderless – at least that’s how I’m playing it. And it’s really powerful,” he told CBS News.” I think the new generation is really ready. The kids are ready. It’s the grownups that are slowing stuff down,” he said.

“It hit me when I was on the set last week, how profound it is that I am playing the Fairy Godmother – they call it the Fab G,” Porter told CBS News. “Magic has no gender.”

The grownups are slowing stuff down? No, it’s the sane parents who don’t want their children to be indoctrinated with all this gender fluid hoopla. Some of us actually appreciate reality.

Also, who is ‘they?’ I don’t know anyone who has ever called the fairy godmother ‘Fab G.’
