Bloomberg Confronted Over Having Armed Security While Pushing Gun Control

Gun control always seems to be a popular tactic for the Democrats going into election night.

Most people don’t understand that we don’t want our guns to be safely secured in our homes just for hunting. We want to be able to rise against the tyrannical governments that seem to be undeniably knocking on our doors.

The argument that American’s would never let a tyrannical government in power isn’t watching 1,000’s of people vote for socialism at the ballot box. They tell us how we should spend our money, what drinks to buy and what size, what kind of house to buy or car to drive, all the while they’ll reap the benefits of stripping our citizens of their rights.

Bloomberg had a town hall last night with Fox News. A lot of people have criticized the broadcast for the hosts’ performances. Calling the hosts on asking easy softball questions, and not holding Bloomberg to task when he doesn’t answer any questions.

A prime example came when a citizen asked a simple question to Bloomberg regarding gun control.

Clarke Chitty’s question: “How can you justify pushing for more gun control when you have an armed security detail that is likely equipped with the same firearms and magazines you seek to ban the common citizen from owning? Does your life matter more than mine or my family’s or these people’s?”

Bloomberg’s non-answer showed how elitist this man truly is, and I am sure he thought he knocked it out of the park.

Bloomberg tells the man that when you are rich and have a lot of influence, you can hire armed guards to protect you. So, in short, Bloomberg does think his life is more important than this man’s life.

Let me explain. Bloomberg touted that his armed security guards were all paid for by himself and were all ex-cops that are very familiar with firearms. Well Bloomberg, what about the people who can’t afford armed security but have had death threats against them? Shouldn’t they have the best chance of protecting themselves or their family?

Bloomberg then starts to tell the crowd that the only people he wants to stop owning guns are minors, psychiatric problems, and criminals. He doesn’t want to stop you from owning guns; he wants to make sure that he limits your ability slowly. No one is just going to sign a bill that takes away your guns, but they will continue to limit your ability to own certain types of firearms or ammunition.

There is a reason these things are scary coming out of Bloomberg’s mouth. This man that created stop and frisk is now telling us that a psychiatric problem can prevent you from owning guns. The term “psychiatric problem” is so vague. It could literally mean anything to the wrong person.

I would say that police, first responders, and veterans could have some “psychiatric problems” with all the things they see and experience keeping us safe. Yet these are the people that Mike Bloomberg employs to keep him safe.

It is and always will be a do as I say and not as I do. The left elite believes that they know what to do with our freedoms better than we do.

When it comes to abortion, Trump has been the most pro-life President in our lifetime. When it comes to protecting our 2nd Amendment rights, Trump has a way to go, but I trust him more than I trust anyone else running for President.
