When I first saw this story, I thought it was a rehash of this one we covered a few months back. But then I looked up the original and remembered that preschool teacher was from Seattle, not Portland.
What can I say? All those douchey-hipster Pacific Northwest cities look the same to me.
Beyond being Hipster Douchebag Central, it comes as no surprise that these cities are also hotbeds of leftist social justice anti-police sentiment, not to mention the sheer frothing-of-the-mouth that’s taken hold of the left since Donald Trump won the election.
According to that sourcelink, a preschool teacher from Portland was participating in an Antifa protest to counter a free speech rally (oh, the irony). Of course, there was a police presence at the protest – that’s standard for any large gathering of people in a public place. Also, given how violent Antifa protests have turned in recent months, it’s perfectly understandable that the police would also show up in riot gear.
And that’s when the teacher (unnamed in the video, but she does make it clear what her day job is) goes off on the officers –

“You have a responsibility. You put on the badge, you have a responsibility … to a higher standard. I pay my taxes, I pay your paycheck,” the woman said in the video. “I need you to serve and protect me. I feel scared. You can’t seek and destroy me.
“And this, today, I’m wearing all black,” she continued, directing her comments to police decked out in riot gear. “But normally I’m a single mom preschool teacher and I don’t need to feel scared. I don’t need this.
“I pay your paycheck. So it’s important that you have that … higher standard,” she said. “I teach black kids and white kids … why do I have to teach my black kids not to play with guns? … You can come into my classroom and you’re f**king officer friendly, but you come into my classroom and the black kids are scared as shit.”
“Why? Why is that? That’s not f**king cool,” the teacher raged. “That’s not okay, and I have to sit there and deal with that every day. I’m not out here because it’s some f**king fashion show.
“I’m the good guy here,” she said. “You’re dressed up like I’m the f**king enemy. … You’re scaring us. I’m the one paying your paycheck, so go home tonight and think about the responsibilities you hold. Cause if one of you f**ks up, you should all take accountability for that.
If you can understand what in the world she’s trying to say (other than dropped F-bombs all over the place), give yourself a gold star.
Congratulations, Portland! That’s the kind of person who is teaching your children!
(Sadly, many Portlanders are probably more than happy that this screechy hosebeast is getting paid to educate their kids. How do you think Portland continues to operate the way it does year after year?)
I don’t know what else can be said that hasn’t already been discussed when it comes to these Antifa thugs. They show up dressed all in black, shouting profanity and epithets at the police and everybody else, many break windows and set things on fire and beat people up. And then they have the stones to cry about how victimized they are? That the police scare them?
Yeah, no. Not buying it, cupcake. Maybe take the black hood off first and then try to have a rational conversation?
I’m not holding my breath.
