CNN President Says Fox News Is ‘State-Run TV’

Of all the idiotic things to say…

During a recent interview with “The New Yorker Radio Hour,” CNN president Jeff Zucker said that Fox News is, essentially, a state-run propaganda outlet. Meanwhile, CNN remains the only news outlet that seeks and reports “the truth.”

I’ll wait here while you laugh your head off.

“Obviously Fox News is, uh…So, look, there’s three cable news networks. Certainly in primetime and in the morning, Fox is state-run TV and is extolling the line out of the White House,” Zucker explained.

At the same time, MSNBC “has become the opposition” (if he’s referring to reality, then yes. MSNBC is the opposition of reality), while CNN is on the constant quest for truth. How noble.

“Do you think the other two networks are not broadcasting the truth?” the New Yorker’s David Remnick asked.

“Well, I think that there are clear agendas at work at the other cable news networks depending on their political points of view,” Zucker replied.

But no political agenda at CNN, huh? I guess that’s why the network tweets out stupid crap like this.

This is the same CNN that:

1. Devoted a whole segment to President Trump’s apparent fear of stairs
2. Dropped a “bombshell” report on Trump’s alleged ties to Russia and admitted in said bombshell that the evidence was “not conclusive”
3. Called the entire Susan Rice controversy a “diversion”
4. Questioned a poll just because it had a result it didn’t like
5. Cut off its own live feed after a woman started talking about the craptastic nature of Obamacare

And so on. This is the SAME CNN that did everything in its power to destroy everyone who criticized Hillary Clinton during the presidential election.

PLEASE, Zucker. Please.

“I think it’s an unfortunate phrase,” Zucker continued. “I think we should all try to avoid it. I think it’s also dangerous and unfortunate that the president of the United States and the people around him would try and denigrate an institution like the media, which is one of the bedrocks of this country.”

Zucker is obviously lumping CNN in that statement. So in other words, he thinks CNN is one of the bedrocks of this country. HAHAHAHAHAHA.

In other news, Zucker has decided that he regrets CNN airing President Trump’s rallies last year. I wonder why that is?

“I think, in hindsight, if we could go back, we probably wouldn’t do all those,” Zucker said. “I think we probably did do too many of them. I do not think that’s why he’s president of the United States. I do not believe that’s why he won the Republican nomination.”

Then why wouldn’t he run them again, huh? Obviously, he thinks it helped in some capacity. (I honestly think it backfired. He probably thought by airing the rallies, everyone would be horrified by Trump. Needless to say, it had the opposite effect.)

“The people who voted for Donald Trump, the people who support Donald Trump, they understand he was a businessman,” Zucker said. “He did things, he said things — they may not be what we’re used to. They’re OK with it. They’re OK with it because they’re completely not OK with Washington. And all they wanted was somebody to go to Washington and actually just create havoc.”

It’s so cute how Zucker thinks he gets us. No. I didn’t want unmitigated chaos. I wanted to preserve the Supreme Court. I wanted tax reform. I wanted Obamacare repealed and replaced. I wanted jobs back home. I wanted to stop illegal immigration. I wanted “peace through strength” to make a comeback. I wanted accountability. Granted, I’m still waiting on a number of those things, but it’s only been three months.
