Time Magazine Thinks That Trump’s Immigration Pause Affected A Muslim-American Who Was Detained In DECEMBER

Dear Time Magazine – Does ANYONE in your editorial offices own a freaking calendar? Couldn’t you consult the calendar app on your smartphones? I know at least one person working there must have access to something like that.

So, we all know that the leftist media has been in constant OMG FREAKOUT PANIC mode since President Trump signed an executive order temporarily pausing immigration from certain countries heavily controlled by Islamic terrorist groups until we can be sure that we’re vetting people coming from those countries properly. The panic makes zero sense in face of the facts, but when you’re the leftist media, you are allowed to be ridiculous.

Case in point.

That article from TIME magazine (well, TIME’s subsidiary website, Motto) – originally published last Thursday – asserts that a Muslim-American Olympian was detained at the airport because of Trump SUPER SCARY travel ban –

The problem? Olympic fencer Ibtihaj Muhammad was actually detained last December. When Barack Obama was still president. Long before Donald Trump had signed ANY executive orders because he wasn’t in the White House yet. Obama still had the power of the pen and phone back then.

Several days later, the tweet advertising the article is still up with no corrections or clarifications as of this writing (though the article itself does say it was “updated” – however, it correction in the article doesn’t say how it was updated or what was corrected. So, it actually doesn’t mean anything).

Even Muhammad herself said that the incident happened in December  –

Um… does TIME think that this is all the correction and clarification needed? ‘Cause the article still says it was due to the “travel ban.” The FREAKING HEADLINE even says “Because of President Trump’s Travel Ban” –

When is this fake news nonsense going to stop? Seriously, I want to know.
