You know how Democrats are completely taken aback by Donald Trump’s fun little nicknames for politicians he doesn’t like? He hasn’t used them much lately (after all, Hillary’s the only one left in the race). During the primary, we had “Little Marco,” “Lyin’ Ted,” “Low Energy Jeb,” “Goofy Elizabeth Warren,” “Crazy Bernie” and of course, “Crooked Hillary.”
They really are catchy. It’s a brilliant tactic, actually. They stick in your head. Example– There’s a Senate race between Marco Rubio and Patrick Murphy going on in Florida right now. I hear ads on the radio ALL THE TIME, and one of them refers to Patrick Murphy as “Phony Patrick Murphy.” I usually just listen to the radio in passing, but that catchy name totally stuck with me. One day, I was talking about the Senate race with someone and was like, “Oh yeah, Phony Patrick Murphy.” I had no idea where it came from, because I wasn’t even consciously thinking about it. Just saying, nicknames are effective.
ANYWHO. The left acts like these names are super immature and inappropriate. They would NEVER call someone a mean name (in public). Thanks to batch 11 of the Podesta emails, we now know the Clinton campaign chairman’s nice nickname for Bernie Sanders: Doofus Bernie!
Podesta calls Bernie Sanders a “doofus”.
Remind me again why is Bernie endorsing Hillary?https://t.co/iE9RqD34wp #PodestaEmails11 pic.twitter.com/OjF6nXv5Ig

But of course, nothing beats Hillary Clinton calling a Secret Service agent a “miserable c*ck sucker.” When it comes to name-calling, she wins all day, every day.
