According to this, a woman named Sandra Ferguson saw an 11-year-old girl get into a truck with a strange man. Thing is, Ferguson works as a teacher’s aide at an elementary school and recognized the girls as a student she knew and worked with before. And she also knew the man had nothing to do with the girl. Rather than ignore the situation, Ferguson blocked the man’s truck with her car and told the girl to get out of there while she called police –
Sure, she could have just called the police and gone on with her day – but who knows if the police would have found the girl or arrested anyone for the crime? This way, the girl is safe and the perpetrator is locked up so he can’t hurt anybody else.
