Father Of College Student Cleared Of False Rape Charges Has Harsh Words For Accusers

You know, there IS a “Rape Culture” in America. But it’s not what liberal feminists think it is. It’s the culture that you can accuse a guy of raping you – whether or not he actually did – and think that you can get away with ruining that guy’s life. See, feminists rail against “the patriarchy” for things like the idea that women who have a lot of sex indiscriminately are “sluts” and “whores”and their reputations are ruined because of it. But that is the same thing they’re doing to guys who they claim are rapists with little or no evidence – just the women’s word that she was raped.

(Truly, feminism is no better than the insidious patriarchy they claim to fight against.)

Case in point.

According to that link, Corey Mock (no relation to our Mock here at COTR) is a college wrestler at University of Tennessee-Chattanooga who was at a party with a girl. They got drunk and had sex and months later, Corey was being accused of raping the girl. Even though her account of the “rape” did not match his account of the consensual sex. Still, Corey was advised by his lawyers to not wrestle his senior year of college, avoid social situations, and basically be a hermit during his last year of school.

Corey’s dad, C.D. Mock, was a wrestling coach at University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and he came to Corey’s defense (understandably). He took to his blog to criticize the idea of affirmative consent, which means that both parties to the sexual conduct to get consent before, during, and after a sexual encounter. Which means, you’re constantly asking your partner if you can do this or do that throughout the experience. And somebody put together a video of how this is supposed to work (it’s not terribly graphic or obscene, don’t worry. It’s uncomfortable as crap, though). And, quite frankly, it looks utterly stupid –

Geez. Talk about your wimpy beta male. They both sound like they’re a couple of toddlers who can’t take care of themselves without parental guidance. Not exactly the most attractive thing on the planet.

Back to Corey and his dad – C.D. actually lost his coaching job after Corey was cleared of all charges (no evidence of rape was found – imagine that) and he suspects that it’s because he was critical of affirmative consent and UNC Chancellor over athletics is a huge feminist pom-pom waver and is all about the “Let’s ask legal questions during sexytimes” affirmative consent thing.

In the aftermath of all this, C.D. had this to say about the whole process of getting his son cleared of the rape charges (emphasis mine) –

“In this environment, don’t expect justice,” he said. “They are going to do everything they can to kick him out of school.”

Short of that, save sex for marriage or film sexual encounters, he adds.

“Good advice is to tell young people don’t have sex before marriage,” he said. “However that is probably not practical advice in this day and age, so I think the practical advice to navigate specifically this whole concept of affirmative consent is you have to throw common sense out the door and look at it like a legal process. So that means you need to record on a video every step of the process.”

As crazy as that sounds, the stakes are that high, at least for now, he said.

“I think the pendulum is beginning to swing, because people are realizing this isn’t good, it’s not right, it’s not practical, and it’s not going to work,” he said of affirmative consent. “And the only question is, ‘How many young men have to have part of their lives destroyed before everybody wakes up to this?’ ”

And that’s the thing – feminism proves time and time again that they’re NOT about equality or justice or any of that. It’s constantly all about making men suffer for things that happened in the past – things that they were not around for and, frankly, neither were these feminists either. But they’ve been told they are victims and men are to blame. And now all men have to be treated like dangerous criminals while women shriek about being these picked-on victims. And, unfortunately, the people buying into this crap are the ones looking to your votes.

Completely ridiculous.
