Dems To Introduce Bill That Would Block States From Passing Pro-Life Laws

The pro-life movement has been catching steam at the state level. Most notably, Alabama’s pro-life law has gained a lot of attention. Feminists are screeching that it’s the “beginning of the end.”

Democrats don’t know what to do. Wait– yes they do! Let’s revoke a state’s ability to enact pro-life laws! No more heartbeat bills! Easy fix!

Not kidding. They’re actually planning on introducing legislation that would do just that. It’s titled the “Women’s Health Protection Act.” It’s sponsored by Sen. Blumenthal and Rep. Chu.

The proposed bill would block and upend vital pro-life legislation, such as so-called “heartbeat bills” — which protect unborn babies with a detectable heartbeat from abortion — waiting periods, and mandates on ultrasounds, among other abortion restrictions.

According to pro-abortion ActForWomen.org, WHPA is described as “a federal bill that would protect the right to abortion by creating a safeguard against restrictions on abortion that apply to no similar medical care. These restrictions interfere with patients’ personal decision-making and block access to safe, legal abortion care.”

They’re really excited about stifling a state’s ability to make its own decision. Federalism be damned.

“Our bill finally puts a stop to the state-based attacks that anti-abortion advocates have been trying to use to undermine or even reverse Roe,” Chu reportedly said.

This isn’t over. Democrats are going to do everything in their power to stop the pro-life movement’s momentum. Only expect more of this.
