Here’s the quick backstory.
During a White House meeting on California’s dangerous sanctuary policies Wednesday, Trump mentioned how important it is to protect Americans from violent gangs, like MS-13.
“We have people coming into the country, or trying to come in — we’re stopping a lot of them,” Trump said. “You wouldn’t believe how bad these people are. These aren’t people, these are animals, and we’re taking them out of the country at a level and at a rate that’s never happened before.”
Those violent criminals ARE animals. Fact.
NYT and Andrea Mitchell feel differently, though.

Wrong. He was calling violent gang members animals. Not ALL illegal immigrants. For crying out loud, even The AP deleted its initial tweet with a correction of sorts.
AP has deleted a tweet from late Wednesday on Trump’s “animals” comment about immigrants because it wasn’t made clear that he was speaking after a comment about gang members.

But is any of that stopping Nancy Pelosi? That’ll be a big ol’ NOOOOOOOOPE.
I think this is what the final stage of Trump Derangement Syndrome looks like.
Wow. @NancyPelosi is straight up defending violent gang members.
"Animals" = unfair description.

“Does he not believe in the spark of divinity, the dignity and worth of every person?”
I’m resisting the urge to go all caps. Screw it, I’m doing it. HOW CAN YOU POSSIBLY SAY GOOD THINGS ABOUT VIOLENT GANG MEMBERS WHO LITERALLY RIP HEARTS OUT OF CHESTS HOLY CRAP.
Pelosi is straight up defending members of MS-13. That’s what’s happening. She wants to talk about their “spark of divinity.” Meanwhile, she supports Planned Parenthood violently ripping babies out of the womb.
Guess their “spark of divinity” doesn’t matter as much.
Such hypocrisy. It’s astounding.
