Dear LORD Almighty.
We’re doomed.
Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present your tax dollars and tuition payments hard at work!
As reported by the Daily Caller:
The University of Virginia hosted a “white privilege” performance art piece Thursday, featuring three actors and a slew of social justice terms.
The performance took place on a stage with wheels in front of Clark Hall, UVA’s environmental sciences building, according to footage sent by a student to The Daily Caller News Foundation. A woman stood on the stage, responding defensively to accusations of prejudice and white privilege.
What in the fresh CANCER did I just watch?!
“Why are you so prejudiced?” asked a voice.
“Oh, I didn’t mean it that way,” responded the lady, kneeling down. “Stop it, now you’re making me feel uncomfortable.”
“Why are you people so sensitive?” the voice retaliated.
“Don’t talk about white privilege like that,” the woman said. “I don’t even know what you’re talking about. I don’t even see color.”
Two men stood beside the woman. They appeared to be illustrating the conversation with body movements and hand gestures.
Mmm. Manly.
An automated voice can be vaguely heard discussing identity and “binary culture” underneath the dialogue.
TheDCNF reached out to UVA for more information regarding the presentation but received no comment in time for press.
Thomas Jefferson founded UVA in 1819…
If he would have known what it would look like 200 years later, he might have just skipped that all together.
