So why the beef? (HA– see what I did there?) Long story short, she’s mad because a bunch of farmworker women joined together and fasted for five days in an effort to get Wendy’s to “help to end sexual violence in its supply chain by joining the Coalition of Immokalee Workers’ Fair Food Program.”

According to Alyssa’s longer post, Wendy’s “stated that these members of the CIW are ‘trying to exploit the positive momentum that has been generated by and for women in the #MeToo and Time’s Up movement to advance their interests.'”

Milano’s mad because Wendy’s didn’t respond the “correct” way. Alrighty then.

So now, Wendy’s is the bad guy, even though this has WAY MORE to do with, you know, immigration problems. But who cares? Attack Wendy’s!
