This just in. The State Attorney’s Office is seeking the death penalty for the Parkland school shooter.
The State Attorney’s Office says they are going to seek the death penalty for Nikolas Cruz, the admitted shooter who killed 17 people at Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland.
He faces 17 counts of murder in the case, as well as 17 counts of attempted murder.

Is this the right move? People seem really conflicted. They point out that the shooter once tried to ingest gasoline in an apparent suicide attempt. Because of that, they argue, they’re giving him what he wants.
