The Left’s Reaction To The Democratic Memo Madness Is Completely Disingenuous

The Democrats’ counter-memo will not be released. At least, not until Democrats revise it.

“Although the President is inclined to declassify the memorandum, because the memorandum contains numerous properly classified and especially sensitive passages, he is unable to do so at this time,” White House Counsel Don McGahn stated.

Predictably, Democrats are outraged.

This move by @realDonaldTrump confirms what we have all known for weeks — that his decision to release the #NunesMemo was a blatantly political move made without concern for national security. The hypocrisy is on full display. What does the President have to hide?

Their reactions are completely disingenuous. Ready for the truth? We predicted this would happen.

Sources tell @foxnews that the @AdamSchiffCA memo contains information pertaining to “sources and methods” that will likely require redaction. One source says this was done tactically to force the @realDonaldTrump into making changes – setting up a contrast with GOP memo

This was by design. Democrats deliberately compromised sources and methods, because they wanted this reaction. They wanted Trump to ask them to rework the memo. That way they could say, “Wow! President Trump is a total hypocrite! What is he hiding?!” They did this to make Trump look shady and non-transparent. This was the plan all along. Schiff is a worm.

At the end of the day, I’m all for releasing this memo the RIGHT way. I’m not in the mood for the left’s game, and that’s exactly what this is to them. A game. They had to create this “Trump is hiding stuff” narrative first, because the actual memo is probably so lackluster, it’s embarrassing. Rep. DeSantis already confirmed that. He said the counter-memo is nothing more than a bunch of nonsense designed to confuse everyone. It doesn’t refute facts in the Nunes memo. Not one bit.

House Intel should vote to release the Schiff counter-memo. It’s basically a sloppy, Chewbacca defense rejoinder to the Nunes memo that unwittingly buttresses concerns raised in the Nunes memo.
