As more and more Democrats push for Franken’s resignation, he has Tweeted this:

He’s totally resigning.

According to this:

Earlier Wednesday, Politico reported that a former Democratic congressional aide is accusing the Minnesota Democrat of forcibly trying to kiss her 11 years ago, adding to a string of allegations against him.

In a statement before the calls for his resignation started, Franken denied the latest accusation against him.

In a succession of statements Wednesday, 18 of Franken’s Senate Democratic colleagues — more than a third of the party’s caucus — pushed for him to step down. Among them were Dick Durbin of Illinois and Patty Murray of Washington, the second and third-ranking Senate Democrats, respectively.

Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez also tweeted that Franken should step down.

Here are the Democratic senators, mostly women, who have called for him to step down:

Dick Durbin on Illinois
Patty Murray of Washington
Kirsten Gillibrand of New York
Mazie Hirono of Hawaii
Claire McCaskill of Missouri
Maggie Hassan of New Hampshire
Kamala Harris of California
Tammy Baldwin of Wisconsin
Debbie Stabenow of Michigan
Bob Casey of Pennsylvania
Joe Donnelly of Indiana
Sherrod Brown of Ohio
Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota
Ed Markey of Massachusetts
Michael Bennet of Colorado
Patrick Leahy of Vermont
Maria Cantwell of Washington
Dianne Feinstein of California
In addition, Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, also said Franken should resign.

Yup. He’s done.

His supporters are losing it… because they all know it’s coming:

Of coooourse….

That’s like .0000001% of it.

Best case scenario, they appoint Keith Ellison to replace him. That clusterf*ck would be GLORIOUS.

So why are they all teaming up against him? They’re amping up to come for Trump. Franken is the sacrificial lamb.

Good luck with that, Dems.

Hold on tight, folks. We’re in for a bumpy one.
