ABC’s #FakeNews Reporter Brian Ross Will No Longer Cover Stories Related To President Trump

ABC News’ Brian Ross has been suspended for a month without pay (so it’s not a glorified vacation) for reporting the #FakeNews that candidate Trump instructed Michael Flynn to establish contact with the Russians. As it turns out, it was President-elect Trump. Big difference! The network apologized. “We deeply regret and apologize for the serious error we made yesterday. The reporting conveyed by Brian Ross during the special report had not been fully vetted through our editorial standards process,” it stated.

ABC News isn’t getting rid of Ross permanently. Instead, the network is depriving him of covering stories related to President Trump. That’s his long-term punishment.

NEW YORK — ABC News reporter Brian Ross, who is currently suspended without pay, will no longer cover stories involving President Trump following his erroneous report last Friday about former national security adviser Michael Flynn. The network confirmed Tuesday the order by ABC News President James Goldston. Goldston expressed his anger over the error on an internal phone call to staff that was leaked to CNN. ABC declined a request by the Associated Press to make Goldston available for an interview Tuesday.

Goldston was SUPER irritated and reportedly said they were “getting absolutely pilloried as a news division for reporting fake news.” #FakeNews for REAL. Anyway, that’s Ross’ punishment. He can’t cover Trump-related news anymore because he sucks THAT hard. Weather and sports it is!
