Liberals: You did this. I blame you.
He’s a white dude who identifies as a Filipino. He’s what you would call “transracial.” He was originally born as a white male named Adam, but he grew up enjoying Filipino food and culture. As the “Party of Science” has taught us, biology, genetics, gender, race– it’s all stupid. Worthless, really. You are what you feel. Make “your reality” reality. Live your dreams! Be who you TRULY ARE! That’s what Ja Du is doing! He feels like a Filipino, so BAM. He’s a Filipino. It’s that easy!
“Whenever I’m around the music, around the food, I feel like I’m in my own skin,” he said.
“I’d watch the history channel sometimes for hours you know whenever it came to that and you know nothing else intrigued me more but things about Filipino culture,” he added.
Dude. You can like something and enjoy it, but you don’t have to become it. That’s insane.
Ja Du hasn’t told his family yet because he believes they will laugh at the notion of changing your ethnicity. The public was very critical of Dolezal and might be for him as well, but Scheckner believes everyone should be more understanding.
PS– Scheckner is a licensed psychologist. Once you see what she has to say, you’ll realize how meaningless that is.
“If that’s who they are and they want to celebrate it and enjoy it, then you have to think what harm is it doing? All they want to do is throw themselves into that culture and celebrate it.”
“I think before we get offended, we need to take a step back and think about what is the harm.”
Offended? No. That’s not the right word. I’m not offended. I’m flabbergasted. Friends don’t let friends pretend that their ethnicities are switchable. It doesn’t work that way.
I know liberals are on the verge of screaming, “cultural appropriation,” and I double dog dare them to. I better not hear a word from them. They’re the same fools who say a man can be a woman and vice versa. And if you ask me, switching races is easier than switching genders. So they shouldn’t have a problem with this.
I’m just upset I didn’t think of this a few years ago. I could’ve identified as a minority and been eligible for a bunch of scholarships. Alas, that ship has sailed. Oh well. For now, I guess I’ll identify as a wealthy Swedish model.
