The Democrats all chanted RUSSIAN COLLUSION RUSSIAN COLLUSION RUSSIAN COLLUSION like the mindless zombies they are.

They asked for it. Now they’re getting what’s coming to them.

To recap, two of Fusion’s cofounders invoked their Fifth Amendment rights last week rather than answer House Intelligence Committee questions about the dossier…. then they filed a federal lawsuit on Friday to block committee subpoenas of its bank records.

Why?

To hide Russian Collusion…with the Clinton campaign.

The Campaign Legal Center has filed a complaint with the Federal Elections Commission against Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign and the Democratic National Committee for ‘hiding’ the fact that they commissioned a dossier on Donald Trump.

 

CLC says the Democratic nominee for president’s political operation ‘violated campaign finance law.’ The non-profit says the conduct should be investigated and sanctioned.

 

At least some of the money the entities directed to the party’s law firm for ‘legal services’ was spent on the collection of the opposition research, CLC’s complaint asserts.

 

By failing to file accurate reports,’ it says, ‘the DNC and Hillary for America undermined the vital public information role that reporting is intended to serve.’

 

Brendan Fischer, director of FEC reform at the Campaign Legal Center, said in a statement accompanying the complaint that the Clinton campaign’s financial reporting was ‘entirely misleading and subverts the reporting requirements.’

 

Senior director of trial litigation and strategy at CLC Adav Noti also said that the ‘misleading reports…undermined the vital public information role of campaign disclosures.’

 

If the commission agrees, CLC says in its complaint that the FEC should ‘determine and impose appropriate sanctions for any and all violations, should enjoin the respondents from any and all violations in the future, and should impose such additional remedies as are necessary and appropriate to ensure compliance.’

HOLY. FREAKING. SMOKES.

Trump hasn’t called for an investigation… yet.

President Trump has not called for an investigation into the money-funneling as of yet, although he has questioned a claim that’s appeared in various news outlets that Clinton was unaware of the dossier’s existence until Buzzfeed published it last year.

 

Trump blasted his former campaign opponent on Wednesday for paying for opposition research that grew into an election-year scandal chalked full of salacious and unsubstantiated allegations against him.

 

‘Don’t forget Hillary Clinton totally denied this. She didn’t know anything. She knew nothing,’ Trump said in an interview with the Fox Business Network’s ‘Lou Dobbs Tonight’ program.

 

‘What I was amazed at – it’s almost $6 million that they paid, and it’s totally discredited. It’s a total phony. I call it fake news. It’s disgraceful. It’s disgraceful.’

 

Campaign finance records show that the Clinton campaign paid a Washington law firm called Perkins Coie $5.6 million in legal fees from June 2015 to December 2016, and the Democratic National Committee paid another $3.6 million. The law firm was a pass-through, taking money from the campaign and the DNC and paying the opposition research Fusion GPS.
