Transgender Groups Are Mad About A “Man-Free” Festival

This may be one of the more obnoxious stories I’ve ever read. Literally every component of this is annoying.

I love when the SJW groups fight each other….

According to this:

A Swedish festival that describes itself as being “man-free” has been faced with questions over how it will enforce the unusual policy. Statement Festival was created by the comedian Emma Knyckare in response to reports of sexual assaults at other music festivals in the country.

 

She announced the event in a tweet, writing: “Sweden’s first man-free rock festival will see the light next summer.” “In the coming days I’ll bring together a solid group of talented organizers and project leaders to form the festival organizers, then you’ll hear from everyone again when it’s time to move forward,” Ms Knyckare said.

 

But the festival has come under fire from users of Instagram, the photo-sharing social network, who claimed the policy was discriminatory against transgender people.

 

This is because the ban on men only applies to what Ms Knyckare described as “cisgender men”, a term for a person whose gender identity corresponds to their sex assigned at birth.

 

One user angrily asked whether the ban extended to transgender men – people who are biologically female but identify as male.

 

Another wrote: “You have previously argued that transgender men know how it is to be vulnerable and oppressed, just like women, and should therefore be welcomed. What do you do with the rest of the men who are vulnerable and oppressed, then?”

 

The festival has responded by saying that transgender men and cisgender are “equally male” and that it was re-evaluating its gender policy.

 

Ms Knyckare defended the man-free festival in an interview with the news website The Local earlier this week.

 

“All men are not rapists, but almost all rapes are carried out by men,” she said. “We want to create a free space, a cool festival where women can be without feeling worried.”

Ohhhhh boy.

Ok, so let me get this straight. Men who are really women are mad they can’t go to a no-boys-allowed lady party? OR Women who pretend to be men are mad they can’t come to the girl party anymore?

WHY do you even WANT to go to the all-girl party?! EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS IS RIDICULOUS.

I DON’T GET IT.

Here’s the thing. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous that they’re having a big we-hate-boys-because-they’re rapists party…. I also think they should TOTALLY be allowed to have it. As I’ve mentioned before, I’m sick and tired of people being FORCED to include anyone they don’t want to include. DO WHATEVER YOU WANT WITH WHOEVER YOU WANT. I DON’T CARE.

My real question is why are these people so committed to making a fuss? So there’s a big ol’ party you’re not invited to. FINE. Go somewhere else. Why FORCE YOURSELF into something that sounds awful to begin with? It’s not always about you. Also, you CHOSE not to be a girl anymore… you can’t have it both ways, cupcake.

GET OVER IT.

As I said, everything about this is beyond my comprehension. Another case of SJWs feeling the need to be perpetually offended.

It’s not a good life, folks. Why make yourself so miserable over every damn thing?
