Watch: Did McCabe Just Admit To An Attempted Coup Against The President?
[/membership]
Former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe will appear on “60 Minutes” Sunday. Snippets of his interview are already leaking out.
He’s confirming what we already suspected: Everyone is corrupt. EVERYONE.
According to McCabe, some top Justice Department officials were so disturbed that Trump fired Comey that they “discussed whether to recruit cabinet members to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove Mr. Trump from office.”
The concerns about the president’s actions also prompted Mr. McCabe to order the bureau’s team investigating Russia’s election interference to expand their scope to also investigate whether Mr. Trump had obstructed justice by firing Mr. Comey. They also were to examine if he had been working on behalf of Russia against American interests.
“I was very concerned that I was able to put the Russia case on absolutely solid ground, in an indelible fashion,” McCabe said. “That were I removed quickly, or reassigned or fired, that the case could not be closed or vanish in the night without a trace.”
“I wanted to make sure that our case was on solid ground and if somebody came in behind me and closed it and tried to walk away from it, they would not be able to do that without creating a record of why they made that decision,” McCabe added.
“I was speaking to the man who had just … won the election for the presidency and who might have done so with the aid of the government of Russia.” Former FBI acting director Andrew McCabe, Sunday on 60 Minutes. https://t.co/IVwcM11BGc pic.twitter.com/m6HwHMOqY9

“I was speaking to the man who had just run for the presidency, and won the election for the presidency, and who might have done so with the aid of the government of Russia, our most formidable adversary on the world stage and that was something that troubled me greatly,” McCabe continued.
FREAKIN’ PLEASE.
Oh. And Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein REALLY wanted to wear a secret wire in the Oval Office to “catch” Trump. It doesn’t sound like it was a joke.
.@ScottPelley says McCabe told him the suggestion that Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein wear a wire into the WH to record potentially incriminating conversations with the president “came up more than once and it was so serious that he took it to the lawyers at the FBI to discuss it.” pic.twitter.com/Dk5fuS0H1m

They’re all so dirty.
And to think. This is what President Trump has been dealing with behind closed doors…
